Community Conversation: Race, Equity and Well-Being in the Midlands Part 3
Tuesday, April 30, 2024 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Join Richland Library for a community conversation unpacking race, equity, and well-being in the areas of income, wealth and employment in the Midlands.
In 2021, the City of Columbia commissioned a comprehensive analysis of well-being, through a race equity lens, for residents of Richland and Lexington Counties and the City of Columbia. The resulting Racial Equity Index Study, released in June 2021, reports findings that promote greater awareness and understanding of the depth and breadth of the differences between the White and Black experience in these areas of South Carolina.
Join the Greater Columbia Community Relations Council for a presentation of housing disparity findings and a solution-focused community think tank.
