Learn Freely: Save Our Songbirds!
Saturday, May 4, 2024 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Learn how you can take small steps to stop bird collisions in our homes and communities.
North American songbirds play an important role in our communities by providing insect control, aiding in seed dispersal, and serving as pollinators. Did you know window collisions are a primary threat to songbirds? Hundreds of millions of birds each year are injured from window collisions.
Hear from a conservation expert about how we can all take action to preserve our wildlife, land and natural resources. Then find out how you can make your community safer for our songbirds.
This event is a partnership with Riverbanks Zoo and their Party for the Planet initiative.
A post-event survey will be passed out with opportunities to win a behind-the-scenes tour at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden and other fun prizes!
